Yes, there's a certain satisfaction that you get knowing people enjoy what you're wearing on one level or another, but on the other side of that coin dressing how you feel like dressing is also very comfortable. In light of that overlapping the two seems ideal if you can swing it.

Sometimes, that's just a bad idea. That's why I posted what I did before about the middle ground, because as Petronius said, moderation in all things. Besides that, I don't think that it's possible to dress solely to impress others, as evidenced by what Toto said earlier about getting satisfaction from dressing nice.

You're right ebrey, to an extent. I think that fashion is something that both genders can appreciate equally! Not that this is the case mind you, but surely men can enjoy the finer points of wearing a fine Armani pinstripe and a Country Gentleman chapeau, where women can enjoy... purses and shit. See what I mean?

one time I went to amsterdam and the house I stayed at there had an electric kettle
and I bought myself an kettle a while back I think my parents still have it
no one likes electric kettles I think they are tops though. americans do like the regular kind of kettles however.

It wasn't fitted at all, actually. My grandpa had to order it before I got back to California, so I just told them my trunk measurements and he ran with that. I think stotelheim's coat in conjunction with the tie wins out over yours, MGH, but without the tie I think you've got the win.
