Why? If they're detailed well and cut right and made out of good denim they can be rather fancy, in fact.

It's just...bad fashion. So 80's. Like leather jackets. This is for Australia anyway. Fashion varies I'm pretty sure.
I have a nice pair of jeans that I should show off someday. They're not Wilkes nice, like crazy 400 dollar jeans, but they're nice. |

let me get dressed up to go to the pub (a man does not need an excuse for classiness.)
ok well: the jeans i wanted to wear are dirty. i washed them, but then when i took them off the line they still smelt a bit funky, so perhaps I will wash them again.
so i am wearing businessish posh pants which are too posh for where i'm going but oh well. |

also these jeans do stink i can't wear them oh god. i tried them on arrgh. bloody soccer, stink up my jeans even after i've washed them.
this is my torso w/jeans but then wearing them they are nasssty so i will wash them again or something. i am wearing my other jeans now, my shitty jeans, which is good as it is appropriate for where i'm going.
i'm not good at myspace/facebook photos :( forgive my ridiculous facial expression

nah seriously i was the one who started this train of conversation, and drunk, the next evening (as i was the evening before), so shall i end it/continue it.
mgh yes i did mean feminine shit. you dress nice now, but like a slightly masculine nice you know? like how i'd dress if i would dress nice.
a dress and 5 inch pumps doesn't make you slutty, you make yourself slutty by thinking those things are slutty.
here's what i envisioned (this isn't creepy OK): a colourful, backless dress and some heels (not too long even, 5 inch like way too long, even 4cm is like mad). just to test.
i get the compulsion to dress as fancy as i can sometimes; and i gotta say, if i was a girl, i'd get dressed up like something ridiculous and go out. |

personally, and i don't really mean this to apply to you, but i would. i take the opposite route. i mean, to me, there should be some sort of balance between looking how you want to look and looking "nice", to the general populace. i tend to shift this balance towards what other people think, just cause that's the way i role. i take satisfaction with wearing what other people find stylish, just as much if not slightly more than wearing something only i myself find stylish.
does that make any sense, at all? |

i tried this coat on in germany, it was gorgeous, leather, but it was 400 euros and i couldn't afford it. |
