9th grade, I got interested in Final Fantasy V, a local game store yanked the tabs out of my SNES with pliers, and I was off to the races with a Japanese-English dictionary and quite a lot of persistence. Also got Romancing SaGa on the same receipt. Boy that was a mistake. Never figured out what the hell I was doing in Romancing SaGa. This is all circa 1994, maybe 1995.
I did enjoy Final Fantasy V, though, and having later replayed it in English, I realize I didn't miss much in not understanding it.
But what I really wanted to say is: holy shit there's a Picross DS? |
