|

Greetings from this magical, mysterious land known as Brazil.
So, there is this new console here, the "Zeebo", which I canīt help writing in quotes, and most of its games blow, except for this one:
All games for the "Zeebo", until now, are ported from other devices that run Brew, mostly cellphone crapware. But I have no idea where this Double Dragon remake came from. Is it the only "original" title on the console? Or is it, like, an obscure japanese cellphone game?
Note that Million, the developer, is also responsible for Double Dragon Advance.
Bonus fact: I tried to register on GameSpite to post this very same topic, but it seems Parish doesn't want the likes of me in there. |

Man, that's AWESOME. Double Dragon Advance is the best game in the series, as far as I'm concerned. Now someone just needs to convince them to port this thing to XBLA/PSN. _________________

That does look pretty awesome.
For the record, Million is essentially what's left of Technos. |

Technos is developing for a console that included Quake 1 as a launch game!? Belinda Carlisle was right, and that place is Brazil. |

I don't know why, but DDII and III are the games in the genre I like most (II being my favorite game of all time). There's a crunch and heft in those games that I like. II feels like the Super Turbo of brawlers if you get what I mean.
Maybe it's the platformy parts? Or the fighting parts on the sort-of platformy parts? Or that there's no unnecessary combos... |

The console itself is an attractive piece of hardware. _________________

Well, the console is still on limited release, we will know in the next few months. Rumour says there will be some ports from the Dreamcast, and I wonīt comment on the technical feasibility of that, but TecToy and Sega have a really, really good relationship, so... |

considering the number of times in the past year I've gone info searching and stumbled across developer sites that haven't been updated in 5-10 years, it's kind of weird and distressing that Million doesn't seem to have a website.
I wonder what their relationship to Arc System Works is... |

It was a launch title, two or three weeks ago. |

| So the ports of Sonic Adventure they mentioned in their literature weren't launch titles? Huh. |

Maybe this thing contains the Dreamcast-on-a-chip that was developed near the end of the DC's lifespan for set-top boxes and shit like this. I still think they should have slapped two of those chips in the Nintendo DS. _________________ Boycotting Digital Press for blatant anti-Semitism.
