It's a not very well-kept secret that we irrationally love Konami here at selectbutton. They are responsible for SB-beloved franchises such as Castlevania, Metal Gear, and Shaman King. To show appreciation for the influential japanese studio, and also for an excuse to talk about their more obscure titles and argue about Castlevania, we take one week a year to focus discussion on Konami and their games.

Current highlights from 2007's Konami-mas are:

• dessgeega has posted a MAME thread profiling many classic Konani arcade titles
  
• on that note, professor scissors is blogging a series of blind dates with some of those aforementioned arcade games.
  
• resident otaku/wild-and-tough-guy haircute has an interesting look at tokimeki memorial
