Heads up. Alien Extermination is the shits. Possibly the worst arcade game since Ford Racing Full Blown(No seriously Sega, Ford Racing 3 is an acceptable budget game. A arcade game, even programed by the Bitmap Bros, is approaching WTF teritory) .
Hell Konami havent been rockin it in the arcades recently, Thrill Drive 3 is a horrific Burnout Revenge Clone with bogey Powerups.

| Silent Hill Arcade is the worst idea I have ever heard. It'll either be a House of the Dead clone, or some crazy weird cabinet that is dumb and will never be heard from again. |

Also, eveverything I've heard about Chase HQ 2 from people who played it at ATEI indicates that it's terrible, unfortunately. |

Come now...while it's not up to the standards of HotD1 or HotD2, *surely* you must admit that it's better than the fiasco that *is* HotD3. That thing is an absolute *atrocity* that one couldn't *possibly* do *worse* than. And yes, I like asterisks.
I thought that HotD4 was pretty decent, all things considered. Yeah, some of it is obviously due to the whole "WoweezoweeitsinhighdefthatssocoolI'mwettingmyself" factor, but the gameplay on the whole is far, far better than it was in HotD3, which sucked more than a factory-fresh Hoover. |

That 2spicy game seems like it could be fairly interesting, in a Time Crisis-clone sort of way. EDIT: Actually I think I should give it more credit than that.

2spicy looks great! it's not really a time crisis clone, but a 1 on 1 light gun game where your goal is to kill the other player. each player has their own life bar and you basically just run and duck behind pillars and shoot things. classic.

Tekken 6 revealed with official site, two new characters: Zafina and Leo (the last is a girl...) and a trailer... and is coming to Arcades and not only to PS3! thanks god.

It looks pretty cool. Also, a LOLed at the virtua tennis footage because I thought two people were playing it until the camera panned down. |

Yeah, I'll agree with that. The problem is that being better than HotD3 doesn't mean that it's very good. I mean, House of the Dead 4 is a game running on Lindbergh, with giant plastic machineguns, and yet it has less destructible scenery than HotD1. The game just reeks of laziness, especially the last two stages. And I strongly disliked how the game would have you running past Thriller-like zombie hordes in the distance while making it impossible to actually shoot them. It just feels hollow and unsatisfying as a whole. And that shaking bullshit? Shouldn't have been in the game!
Also, I'm pretty sure I'm ok with Konami exploiting the moe base if it means another good horizontal shooting game. |

It's okay Toups I saw your announcement first:)
Otomedius completely surprises me. I never thought Konami would do Parodius with polygons, largely due to the level of modeling detail that would be required. Looks like it has instant respawn + grabbing back options, too. |

i dont know why but there is almost no news of the last day of AOU... dont know why. The only place i saw some rumors are in the 2ch thread but now is starting to be too hard to believe, they even are saying that Capcom vs SNK 3 is coming, yeah..
