So for FKW'07 I decided I'd go take a week-long vacation to that small-quaint town of Silent Hill. I got here tonight, and it's already been an interesting trip. My tour guide for the day was Harry Mason. He's an ok dude, but he seems to really want to find his daughter in a really nonchalant way.
The other odd thing I noticed was how all the town's folk like to repeat themselves.
"What are you doing here? You're here?"
It almost seems like they were given choices of what to say and then decided to use both. It happens often. Everyone also seems to speak like Harry with this weird disconnect of their voice from what they are saying.
Harry was a good tour guide, even though at the end we went to the same places again. There was one puzzle he had to call his friend Faqs about*. Then we ended up fighting this giant bondage dragon. It was really strange.
I forgot to bring my camera, but I'll have pictures tomorrow. I'm really tired. I'm going to meet a guy named James tomorrow, who is looking for his wife. What's up with this town?

rudie, did you finish this mutha in one sit? if so, i'm impressed.
i've played too much silent hill in my day. when i was a young whipper snapper i would walk uphill through the ashes both ways looking for cheryl. nowdays i get scared if i stay up too late...it's pathetic. shit, i think it has to do with playing too much SH actually. the other night i was having trouble going to sleep, because i had the feeling that someone or something was sitting on my bed, towards the foot of the bed. |

I don't see the big deal about Silent Hill.
I traveled there just for this one italian resturaunt I had heard such great things about. I mean, they had great pasta and all, but I feel like I wasted my precious time. If you just happened to be in the town then I would recommend this resturaunt because of the great service and prices, but gosh just to travel to eat there? No.
I went in July. It was wonderful. I hear all the crazies come out in August though. |

I probably spent something like an hour comparing the numbers and horoscopes and going over and over it in my head until I eventually just looked up the answer. In typically insane fashion, I think it has something to do with the number of legs or limbs. |
