I'd really like to know if it's possible to build something like that on your own. Not as sophisticated obviously, but just a couple hydraulic cylinders tilting a seat, like in the Outrun cab.

Not DIY, but less expensive then the Cruden.

And where is the F1 game hiding, it should be out next month, shouldn't it?

Played this at Gamescon with all assists off. Felt good, just like in Forza3 as they even had the same setup that i use at home ( MS Wheel + playseats ). Only complains i had was the pretty aggressive AI who even shunted me off the road one time. Apparently i damaged the engine 3 times in one Round so i set it back to Automatic.
I adjusted my front wing aero on the fly to compensate for the damage i took, cool stuff.

Ok, well. Removing the hazards you could use to knock out the police made it nearly impossible to get away ever. At this point, I'm just letting them catch me as soon as the chase starts because they are just flat-out no fun. I do appreciated that the police sometimes mispronounce car names/companies though.

Look for billboard jumps. They will follow and crash most of the time, allowing you to get away. Knowing this makes the pursuit even less fun.
