I was gonna say, if you couldn't make 18-20 in SIX hours, then something is wrong with your style of play. Terribly inefficient. Now I see you're playing with more focus. I too have abandoned my original lv36 warrior in favor of the new character, a lv24 hunter. Got him to 11 on the first day, by playing the way you just did. Funny how I got this guy to 24 in a week, but the warrior took months to get where he is.

PROTIP: Get your professions early. The reason my new character is so much more fun to play is because I have better things to do besides grind. Soon as that starts to get boring it's "Ooh, a new herb to collect!". Or a new potion to make. Or a new skill to teach my pet. There's more to it than just "grind, rinse, repeat", so it's not tedious at all.

Oh, and nothing happened with that girl I gave the ride to, but we did have pleasant conversation, a little laughter, and a bit of indoctrination (she said she's trying to be an Adventist; I explained to her why all religion is bullshit). We'll be working together every Wednesday, so we'll see how this develops. I did make some inroads with this other woman, regular "shots girl" at my favorite bar. Sure, mother of three, past alcoholic, but a fine piece. She knows my intentions because I told her flat out; the ball is on her court.

Pretty organic evolution if you ask me. Lonely on VDay turns into lonely games, which turned into WoW as a not-lonely game that sucks to play until you get your bearings. Still, promulgated stereotypes itt. Someone could've at least mentioned WoW marriages.
