I'm not feeling it. I've never felt it. The new logo does not exude "creativity" and "innovation." Not more than the old logo. You want to know why? Because the old logo had that "du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du" sound and that shiny effect. But not the new Konami logo. The new Konami logo has nothing. That's just how it is. |

I like the old one better, but it's good that they changed it. The old logo would be ridiculous on the Elebits cover for instance.

I can't exactly tell why, but I like the new logo more than the old one. Maybe it's because I'm used to see it whenever I play Enthusia, or maybe it's the nifty design of the logo ... I love it. Like I love cars and can't tell why, that's the same with the logo here.

When the new logo shows up on screen it just flashes in and out. No sound, nothing really special.
The old version came out of the frickin' rocks.

Old has quite a lot of fun personality.
New is very coool.
Meh, I think they should have both logos, and use one or the other depending on the game.
Like, I can't imagine a Goemon with the new logo.

Thus, I don't like it. It does look classy, but I think for them to throw out the one of the most recognizable logos of gaming history is...A waste.

I always likened it to AVON or some cosmetics company.
Did you hear the translation is nearing completion and should be released late 2007? I may track down a copy (or hell, a torrent) and check it out.

And don't forget the 'laser beam' Konami logo from the 16-bit days. (TMNT, Sunset Riders Castlevania IV, etc. etc.)
