Ubuntu, I think, is the most user friendly, but then again, i know crap about linux and only use it for rescue cds.

I edit photographs. Linux really sucks for this. Things are NOT streamlined and simple. My digital workflow would be so much more complicated with linux..

i just installed ubuntu. good god, it took like a mountain of terminal text to get my widescreen monitor working. then i fucked up a beryl install.
.. linux is still not ready for the mainstream, not by a long shot.

what browser do you guys use in linux? firefox seems slower than the windows version.
