Vent. I have not heard a compelling reason to switch.

The citizen kane of games could either be a great discussion (mostly if we just start bringing up random games and making them the CK of games) or completely terrible (every other possibility.)

The moon topic would let me talk about Sies of Arcadia, the other JRPG I have beaten...and that might let us talk about SEGA...hmmm

And I can record, no problem. Got a new mic and everything!

Does Majora's Mask count? You are not exactly on the moon, but your stay in Termina revolves around nothing else but. No one is too keen on having the moon dropped where they live, that should have been all you need to include it with the criteria. I can't think anything else at the moment where the moon plays such an important role, more than another excuse to draw a series out the usual place. Too bad the time limit makes you rush at the start

Infinite Undiscovery was about the moon! It was super wacky. Of course, as inevitably happens in JRPGs, you ran up a spectral chain all the way to the moon and destroyed god (who was the moon or something, I don't even know) and took magic away from everyone dooming them to a bland and monotonous life of menial labor. What a hero!

Guys, the point of the Citizen Kane of Gaming discussion would be to mock the very idea. I thought that went without saying. I really want to hear SBers vocalize how dumb a topic it is and then start suggesting initially semi-serious and then completely ridiculous candidates. That should last about ten minutes.

I'll be honest guys: I don't really feel like showing up this week. But I still want it to happen! If I only knew that at least three talkative guys were guaranteed to appear.... I want this project to continue. But man I'm feeling pretty wrecked and I haven't eaten yet today. I don't know if I even feel like making small talk until other people show up.

Nah I just didn't have much to say, having not played many of the games and missing the subject of conversation.

Was my voice too quiet? I was using my laptop mic and tried to make it sound as good as possible.

Also I had the interesting misfortune of Vent making anyone talking over eachother really quiet so when more than one person was talking I could only hear one person. This made it kind of difficult to follow the conversation.

Was it only me that had terrible echoing? I still did it and just ignored it for the rest of the conversation. From both boojiboy and p1 I'd hear myself about a 1 second after I spoke. For me it gave weird time differences. I don't think you guys had this problem on your end.

Basically I felt like I was talking to the past.
