Look I enjoy old games and customization and stuff. I mean, I've covered vgm into kinda 8-bit but not really but jesus christ, pandering! And I can't even stand the goddamn scene. Being all retro mentality is just fucking silly. Make a game with it, fine, makes sense when you want to make a custom sprite, but sheesh.
It's just.....naaaaaaaawwwwww you had to tell me that's eight bit? You can't tell that instantly even though the rpg-maker tilesets are more sixteen-palette?
I'm gonna butcher this but didn't Capcom at some point before/after development of SF3 completely forget and have to relearn how to do sprites and sprite animation? It's like the same is happening with limited/basic waveform music. It's like yup, we're awesome at throwing midi files into vst plugings yeah! Ship it! It's retrooo!
I'm sorry about the vitriol, nor do I mean to attack the posting of a video, I really never digged the way NIS sells their crap. Their Rhapsody apology letter was pretty hilarious though. |

I remember when that was released, made me real sad. Here's to hoping...
A metrovania remake would be....bizarre, but I almost wanna see it. Just don't end up like Order of Ecclesia or something...
Or perhaps a remake/tightening of that weird NES Valis port. |

Kids should not be allowed to be online until like 16 or something. No really, Webkinz? Can we destroy our future anymore?
Fuck you I made my own toys when I was little!
I could only listen to half of that before retching. Did that being real thing actually go anywhere? The idea that people want organic things because people deep down want to be self sufficient is nonsense, and I'd be frightened if people actually believed that. People come up with dumber rational for keepin' it real. The only reason I'd want anything remotely plain is because I don't want cancer.
(I'm prolly going to get hell for that one.)
(also I get the return to nature thing, but I think it's more of a push away from so much cynicism.) |

As I think I’ve mentioned in the past, we’re actually working on something pretty cool right now that I think you will like. As much as Star Control? Probably not but I guarantee you’ll enjoy it more than Madagascar 2. It’s also easily the biggest project TFB has ever undertaken and has proven to keep us extremely busy. We’re supposed to finish it up by Christmas of this year. I’ll let you know as soon as it is announced.

| Interesting how for nearly a decade and a half, a good bit of the 8/16 bit era fan translations have been done. Now with pushes into currant generations, will we move right back into translations of things on seemingly (though prolly not really) limited architecture/capabilities again, with cell phone emulators... |

Wow that looks bad =(
...
That Duke Nukem thing. Whatever it is, you'd think that for the time spent on DNF they'd have some amazing sound resources stockpiled. I feel embarrassed for them, Duke manages to sound like a text-to-speech app... Unless that was the point... |

It took this long for you to feel uneasy about the game. Okay not the game but... I remember when it was in previews years back and I wanted to retch. This is shooters. Today.
It does make me question what is worse, niche not being localized at all or something being embarrassing to even remotely look at in public let alone take to someone at a register (re: SNK's witch-touching simulator selling more on Amazon.)
(I wish there was a condescending ESRB entry on this game. I wonder how the person playing the game was feeling recording it for the person who will watch said video.)
I wish they had more balls. Like adding to the important safety and health information such lines like you shouldn't like lolis, why are you reading this, or after playing, always make sure to treat your hands with incendiaries.
yeah yeah Cave Cave I'm sure the game is coarse with confetti and J and crunch |

Uhh I thought the whole point of Treasure was so that they wouldn't do another Contra game. Gradius V aside. And that was frighteningly close to careening into Ikaruga anyway.
(I'm kinda interested that it's Arc, since hey they don't have to make a shovelware puzzle game to fund the next fighter or something!) |

Yeah I don't know what to make of that video. That music =(
It looks like it plays alright but... The whole Samus having a voice, speaking lines, beyond like one or two words is throwing me off. |

| Sometimes you just wish they would stop wasting time marketing and making retarded CG videos about being baby anime adult midget and just focus on the game and take as long as they need with the money that would've went to marketing... |

without sounding too much like youtube, someone needs to be giving Sega a Shining Finger right now.
(also that Mamotte Knight demo works fine and I really wish I could just buy the damn thing on PC already!) |

| hahahahahahaha |
After reading that... did they just paraglide over the striped hammerhead?
How much of that seventy dollars goes into the inane marketing and PR for said game, ohhoho, so that the consumer can make an informed decision on spending their seventy dollars!? It certainly isn't going to direct hardware costs.
We absolutely should get rid of the used games market, it would be awesome! Look at how Japan does it, and their industry is on life support! Let's fuck over the regions still on 56k connections! Best of all, we'll have Wagon Sales!! |
