When I played AvP for the first time, when it came out on the PC, I thought "these people must be the biggest geniuses in videogames ever". That was the only time I ever felt the need to follow a company and check out everything they do.
If you played any of their other games you know that that's kind of... dumb. I mean, I loled when I saw Red Bull cans in Judge Dredd, yeah. The rest of the game I didn't find all that funny though. So that wasn't really worth it. Sniper Elite, well, I was really excited about that at first. A good friend of mine actually played it a whole lot, for some reason. Rogue Trooper though! That was fucking unusual! Finally, after all these years. Did some amazing things and actually was solid. I think I'm probably the only person here that ever even heard of it, much less played it. I think. I'd start a thread if I still had a PS2 to re-play, so that I'd have something more specific to say about it.
Fucking Rebellion, man! I hope they're finally really back. |
