| Maybe everyone already saw this and I'm just late to the party, but all the Oddworld games are going to be coming out for the PC, and they're targeting a winter release, which means Stranger's Wrath will be playable without requiring you to hook up an old console. The news came from an interview with Lorne Lanning. I've really wanted to play Stranger's Wrath for a long time now, but I never had an original Xbox until recently so I've never really had a means to play it. |

| I'm probably one of the few people here that care, but Duncan Fyfe started writing again in January and somehow I missed it until now. His new writing is up at www.lifestartshere.net and so far the three stories that are up are all pretty incredible. |

What could they possibly do? After an exodus like that, the studio has to be drastically different no matter what.
They must be betting on the name still being important. If the next IW game doesn't sell like six million units, I bet you'll see them shutter it. |

| I really don't see how those kind of plans can possibly be implemented at any kind of scale. People are such voracious consumers of this stuff that they only way I can think of something like that working is to have the most massive and streamlined content creation system in the world combined with a like a jillion instanced servers. Should be very interesting to watch. |
My guess is just Instanced Everything. Massively Single-player Online Game. Actually, done intentionally and with a clear head that sounds like it could be great, especially for no monthly fee (so you're paying single-player prices anyway). But it's no Galaxies or UO. |
Considering that was what the first one was, that wouldn't be surprising at all. |
