Tactics Ogre SNES finally translated (read: Atlus' PS1 localization script plunked in) after more than a decade; all those who want to play it on some buggy DS emulator (?) rejoice!

In other news, selectbutton poster still can't turn off "oh boy!" reflex at being confronted with jRPGs, even though he's lacked the enthusiasm or time for them for approximately half of said decade.

Played the first ~10 stars of SMG2 with a friend yesterday, making me lament that I'm going to have to do this again myself some point if I do decide to go through it by myself (probably on Dolphin) -- it really is markedly decent. Boss fights are a bit of a shitshow, and I'd rather have played the last ten stars out of the box, as it's still some pretty rote platforming for the neat handful of "wow" moments, but good job, Nintendo.

Ico runs in 320x240 so that'd be kind of weird and unnecessary, but SotC sure could use the extra muscle.

yeah, that's a remake. and only a few months after they finally made the psx translation work in the SNES rom!

(which is still dead boring compared to FFT what with having double the number of units and none of them demigods)
