Does anyone want to discuss something this weekend? The hl2 leaning thread reminded me of a proposed topic that had to do with the evolution of level design in first person shooters which I think would be great.

yeah I really want to us to do an FPS level design one. I'd make a thing for this weekend but I have to run out again. if someone else doesn't by tomorrow I'll try and round up people for sunday.

and yeah some more "2010" submissions would be nice. It doesn't even have to be about your favorite game or whatever, you can just rant about stuff you think sucks.

if i pick a GOTY 2010 it will be deadly premonition and it will primarily be about the progression of absurdist game design, twin peaks homage that actually manages to have a good plot and character development in spite of itself

I'm available tonight, but I dunno if nxs is. We might still be doing that 100-page commemorative XBL marvel 2 mashathon tonight at 8:00 EST.

Honestly, Saturday and Sunday are usually bad days for me because I'm usually out, well, playing fighting games until after midnight. Something like Wednesday or Friday would be much better for me.

I've finished the first pass on the edit for last weekend's thing so I hope to have it released soonish. Thanks for sending it along ArOne.
