So I was doing some routine clean up on my computer when I finally noticed the video configuration on my taskbar. For some reason, I changed the orientation.
I ended up doing some rearraging to my actual desktop, re-editing 21 wallpapers, and now I am seeing for the next few days if tate is the way for me. It's pretty interesting, since now drawing digitally and reading already seem more natural, though I had to readjust my tablet (I actually have less space to utilize on it). But now taskbar space is also limited and a really bad downside is that games and videos can't work fullscreen (though I don't do much of either on the PC, anyway).
Though, does anyone know any PC shmups that run tate? _________________

Ok guys, for some reason after a day of running in tate, every graphical effect (even dropboxes!) on my computer has suddenly slowed down a bit, but it's still noticable. Task manager doesn't seem to show anything odd, so I guess running vertically adds extra stress to the video card (GeForce 7300+ GT) or some other hardware issue.
Going back horziontally fixes everything, though.
I've really grown to like this set up and I am unwilling to go back at the moment. How can I remedy this?
Edit: explorer.exe is using 60,000 K for some reason. That's a little distressing. _________________
