That strikes me as false. Go look at the game lists at GameFAQs, and you'll see just as many random shovelware games for GameCube as there were for Xbox and PS2, and probably MORE for GBA. Nintendo didn't get as many obscure games from tiny Japanese developers as Sony has, but if you can step out of the battle-worn trenches for a moment and just look for great experiences to have with a controller, you can find 'em on all the platforms.
And really. Saying there's a drought for Wii titles...? The 90-day return window for consoles bought on Day 1 only ended two days ago. Considering how hard it still is to get a console, Sonic and the Secret Rings should be considered a launch title. _________________ JSNLV is frequently and intentionally wrong. |
