I argue foulplay on the inclusion of the Wii on this list. Or at least, shennanigans. The Wii drought will never stop. There's been a Ninty [console] drought since the end of the SNES era. For real. It's time to just let go.
That said, go go team DS.
Edit: I see you were talking about gaming (in general), I suppose that's allowed then. But really, Sonic? Does that even count? For any system? |
I dunno as far as I can tell there's a Drought for the DS, too. Half of the games I bought this system for have turned into vaporware on me and right now the only thing I'm interested in is the next Pokemon, which makes me a bit sad. |

| Hell if I had the capacity to buy vaporware games I'd be the happiest gamer ever. |

Don't get me wrong, I love DS long time. And ok, I exaggerated about 'half' of the games I wanted getting cancelled. But it has been a while since I got a new game for it (Yoshi's Island DS which I got for Xmas - it let me down so I traded it in almost immediately).
And right now judging by release dates there's nothing I want for a few more months, and a few titles that I do want have vague '2007' release dates attached to them. So it's probably going to be a while before I buy another DS game, unless I pick something up on impulse. In other words for me, the Nintendo drought isn't Wii-specific.
One game that went the way of the Dodo was Cerulean Dreams. It was essentially a shmup with light RPG elements and a relationship system which was probably something like Riviera's. Seemed pretty rad to me when I first heard about it, and I added it to the list of games I would eventually buy for my DS.
EDIT: I'm totally open to recommendations though, so if there's anything anyone has picked up for the DS lately that they think I should play, let 'er rip. |

Holy beans, that Wario game looks pretty cool and it went totally under my radar! Graffiti Wario? Oh snap, I'm in just for that.
Good call Mr. Wes.
EDIT: Oh, well it's 'Art' Wario. Still pretty sweet though. |
