When I first lurked on IC I was "Thinking, okay, if I join here I'm gonna get raped alive" because as others said, yeah, the atmosphere was pretty unwelcoming. And I could swear on IC everyone hated Killer7 and now everyone on SB liked it(well almost everyone)
