Well, I like Twin Peaks. I love it. I didn't watch past Leland's death on it, because I knew it was at that point the show dipped off into crap,

You know Lynch came back for the finale right? You got to watch that one, it's one of the best things he ever did, up there with the pilot and the movie.

I hated how much of a cheap copy of twin peaks this game was, from the trailers and everything, but when I finally played it it was too good that I couldn't not like it. I don't think I was as into a game this much since silent hill 2 or sons of liberty. I still don't see why they had to ripoff the show so much though.

You should wait until the town meeting, which comes after the lumbermill. I don't think you can interact with the towns people until you've talked to all of them there.

How is watching 30 episodes of a cancelled 90's tv show and then deciding the entire time and show was a waste because the finale didn't provide a nice pat storybook ending and closure not moronic?

I mean I don't think it takes a law degree to figure that out.

The whole mounty thing, with the drugs? Brilliant. The introduction of a love interest after that, and Wyndham's calculating, great as well.

These were some of the worst parts of the show.

It looked like they just went to the exact same places where Twin Peaks was filmed.

Irony has nothing to do with my enjoyment of the game. For me dragon warrior type games are shitty and primitive but that doesn't mean my enjoyment of Earthbound is ironical.

You shouldn't limit yourself like that.

I played it for a minute, it's not unplayable, just really annoying.

Glitchy sound and low frame rates are way more irritating than some wonky shooting.

I don't remember the original having any of these problems, and this version is supposed to have an improved engine, it shouldn't have more issues.

As if the map wasn't hard enough to use already.

Though other than that and title screen music being static-y the first time I turned the game one the problems haven't really been that noticeable for me, but I have an original model ps3 and I've heard it's worse on newer ones.

If it weren't for the title screen music being messed up and the frame rate in the opening tutorial area being all jacked I wouldn't have noticed anything worse than the original. I'm also replaying all the otherworld areas to get all the cards this time and the opening area had the problems again, so I guess it's just something with that area, everything else has been fine.

The new suits aren't even new items added in there with the old ones, they're just added in by some half-assed hack type method where you pick one of the new ones to replace the old "business" suit with. It's bugged though, I seem to have lost the business suit permanently. I switched it to the stupid gamespot suit, saw it was ugly, tried to switch back to the business one and now it's some bright red floral print suit instead.
