| This will probably/hopefully be the closest I'll ever get to playing D2. |

I was thinking this because open world+survival horror. But Twin Peaks: The Game is OK with me too. Especially for $20. |

There's no new game+ mode in this though. You can get all the trading cards through the chapter select screen on a cleared file, but I'm getting more and more warning signs that if you want to go for those difficulty achievements you'll have to start a fresh new game twice. But damn, this game.
Another thing I haven't tried - skip repetitious animations like getting in and out of cars/spinning model of item after picking something up by pressing start.
Also when peeking through windows, instead of hitting B to back out and move to the next window you can look through each by using the bumper buttons. |

| There aren't many video games out there with main characters who are fans of Joy Division and 80s movies. |

| I've never had this happen but you probably need to grab the key for that door again depending on how far back the checkpoint sent you. |

| When you load your save data, there should be a chapter select option under resume. When you replay a chapter, save points are disabled so you need to finish the one you're on in one go. |

| One enemy type can be pretty annoying, since every time she appears you're locked into a small space and have to wait for openings between her attacks to get shots in (suggest using the shotgun, the flamethrower apparently works well up close). |

| Why didn't this make it onto the PS3 in the West? I wonder if Sony blocked the release for some reason. They are probably kicking themselves right now, as they did with Demon's Souls. |

| You can do New Game + on individual chapters, but not being able to save until the end of a chapter is a hassle. |

| Yeah, true. What kept me from getting the achievements was noticing how many shots it took to kill zombies on the higher difficulties. I didn't want to sit through any more of the combat than I needed to :S |

The new cutscenes feel kind of similarly tacked on in that they only seem to be there to promote/hint at a sequel.

| Haha nice. My code from amazon for the "field ops" suit is invalid. I guess I'll just forget about it. |
The code may need to be enabled somehow? I emailed customer service over the weekend and got a response saying they were working on it. I tried redeeming it again last night and it worked. :s
And the field ops suit is also pretty ugly, just a fur (?) coat/jacket over a white t-shirt with "I AM FBI" text. The description says "Attack power, health x3" but it doesn't seem any different from the "Passion Red" suit functionally (some extra health but not 3x as much) |
