It's difficult to do wrong by Dragon Quest. V and VIII are the two strongest titles in the series but DQ always provides a consistent experience. You know what to expect when you go in, and if you already like it you'll probably like any of the other ones. They have their own subtle nuances that give them each their own flavor. |
