| Whoa, I was going to ask essentially that question, on 360 for me though. More specifically: is Dead Rising 2 not included in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record? Seems that way, but wanted to make sure they were separate games. I absolutely adore the original but picked up Vanquish the week the sequel came out.... |

what's the best playstation emulation controller solution?
I spent about 5 minutes trying to use a PS3 controller today, via usb, but it made PCSX (on lion) stop working (King's Field would run the ASCII logo and then go to a black screen; I used the freeze state I'd made near the very start of the game and it loaded and immediately started running around in a circle.)
I am on a MacBook Pro 13" (so onboard graphics only) and have VMWare, so I have no problem switching over to Win XP for emulation purposes; I want to use my mac for SD gaming in general, cuz I hate the way SD systems look on my HDTV... so I need a controller that works reasonably well. _________________ Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est

yeah, that. Last updated in 2005? err, 2010? works on Lion, but crashes every time I close a game or quit. _________________ Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est

If anyone has any idea how to get a wired Xbox 360 controller to work in OS X 10.7.5, I am all ears. I have the driver installed, doesn't see it.
The Ubuntu VM i made in parallels can see it, but can't get PCSX-R to run. "RGB & YUV not found." I have a 13" macbook pro circa 2011. _________________ Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est

yeah, that'd work as well!
I just want to play King's Field / Shadow Tower and take screen shots, without resorting to Windows. _________________ Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est

On the PS3 topic, is there a thread about which PS3 exclusives are worthwhile? I recently got a PS3 and after beating Demon's Souls twice I'm branching out to other stuff. I've got Journey, Ico/Shadow, Yakuza 3 & 4, Uncharted 2, 3d Dot Game Heroes, and some stuff from PSN+ like Dragon's Dogma.
I have plenty to play now but I could do with a list of games to keep an eye out for. _________________ Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est

I have a 360 and a ton of games for it, including bayonetta, vanquish, red dead, dog days, most of the region free cave shooters...
which brings me to Ketsui, which is region free on PS3. I probably should get that.
DeS and Journey were 100% worth buying this system for alone, the rest is a nice bonus. _________________ Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est
