I ain't afraid of no topic! Current things I want to talk about: gaming backlogs, games you havent played but will probably never get around to, games you tell other people you played but havent. Playing games under the influence (alcohol). Randomness in games (stats, weapons, levels, unscripted events, customizable cut scenes). Comfort games, the ones you play once a year, or will never sell because you play it every few years. Game collecting would be fun, if there are any other collectors on the boards that have a bit of a collection going. Besides guides I have like three thousand games and over 45 systems.

Actually, gaming retail in general should be god. The pros and cons of buying used, where to buy games (store loyalty), the price of digital content being the same or more than physical copies.

Also! I think it would be better if we called people in the chat by their names more. Sometimes I hear a totally right-on thing and can't tell who said it. P1d0n34 is pretty recognizable because he goes on for five minutes at time. The other times I just listen to the static and volume, jump back to the introductions and figure out who said it.

Stretch Gunstar Heroes into Treasure games and I'll be there. In fact, from now on I'll probably just show up anyway and hang out in the chat.

If we're going to throw out topics based on games I hate we'll be here for a while.

Earlier in the Vent chat I threw out "digital distribution is piracy". Talk a little about the history of digital and streaming downloads in gaming, then Steam/XBL/PSN/WiiWare and the pros and cons of each.

We're done a few "list thread" gaming topics. Why not tackle something a little bigger idea? Where people take sides and try to persuade their case against the others?

GUYS I THINK THIS WEEK WE SHOULD DO SEGA AND CHRISTMAS. Talk about hidden stuff in PSO, Sonic Adventure, Shenmue, NiGHTS, Christmas NiGHTS maybe it'll just be Dreams Come True songs for 90 minutes (I would be okay with this.)

Maybe it's time for me to get some Shenmue thoughts out there, and why it's my favorite game outside of the fact it has my favorite game in it (Space Harrier.)

I wanna do a "Bad Enough Dudes" episode, covering everything from antihero games (GTA, Kane Lynch) to games you can potential play as rude asshats (Fallouts, Mass Effect, KOTOR).

Dungeon Master, Overlord, Disgaea, Mafia, Tropico, etc.
