i repeat, if you ever actually do the non-us/uk/japan games episode i want in. i can say something about the barely existant scene here and i can talk a lot about french games. i feel a little insecure about my accent and pronunciation when i'm sober, but i think i can get it together.

That could be the most amazing game I've heard people playing. I wonder if it's an offshoot of Montezuma's Revenge?
I've often thought, what if you went and actually made these games people in TV play, based on what they said to the camera? Because their wildly ambitious statements make them sound kinda awesome.
This topic sounds like fun, but I'm packing house to probably couldn't make it.
But several things come to mind:
* Tom Hank's film, Big, where he had that computer adventure game which people wondered about, but I think years later it was revealed just to be a series of graphics screens created specifically for the film.
* Was it Enemy of the State where the kids were jamming on a PS1 control pad, but an FF8 FMV sequence played on the TV screen?

Someone should talk about Wipeout (prototype I think) in Hackers. Hell,, Hackers as a whole.
Also how games are portrayed in Ender's Game, which is to say not so good. |

But I've downloaded it, and have signed up on the page for Ep 4. So, 8pm GMT, that's my time right? I should be free, assuming I don't forget. Better get some rest before hand so my brain feels fresh.

All UK is GMT right now, I believe. USA's in standard time right now so in EST it's 3:00 pm. The overall idea of "an idea of a game" might have legs, but I'll try to steer it into game influence on other media if we end up dried up around the 30-40 minute mark.
