I thought that Holmes really brought down the first movie, so I'm not sad to see her go, even for consistency's sake.
However, I'm really not looking forward to Heath Ledger as the Joker. That just screams all kinds of bad to me. I was definitely a fan of Nicholson's Joker. _________________ I can no longer shop happily. |

When I think of the Joker, I think of the caricature. He's balls to the wall insane, not a supervillain. That's the kind of character I think of when I think the Joker, and I think that Nicholson really pulled it off well. I doubt Ledger could pull such an act off, though it's possible that they're not going that direction with the Joker - which I would be equally unhappy about. _________________ I can no longer shop happily. |
