i haven't ordered anything yet. I was actually waiting till today to figure plans out specifically, just because i was waiting for the paycheck to clear. i there some sort of discount we should be looking at?

If you order one ticket at whatever the full price is, the second one will be half price. At least that's what I read on their website.

So if we split the cost we could save $40 dollars a piece on the tickets. That's like one good meal right there or 200 crunchy chicken nuggets at Wendy's.

EDIT: Hmm...their website apparently doesn't want to apply this discount for whatever reason. This saddens me. I may have to call them sometime and inquire. More than likely I'll probably just bite the bullet.

The station is on like 18th and chester. I know nothing about it being a bathhouse, though I can imagine it. Not too bad of a walk from tower city, actually.

Looking at the schedule, there is one that leaves at 12:01 that gets into louisville shortly after 7 in the evening. I'm thinking that might be our best bet, as the next latest one has us hit louisville at almost midnight, which is probably a little alte to be asking for a ride from the station.

Coming home on the second, we might have to go a slightly earlier morning route, unfortunately, since we are both relying on RTA in Cleveland. there is a 9:45 out of Louisville the puts us in Cleveland at 4:30. Sound good to you?

yeah, i'm . . . out.

i waited too long to get my visa straightened out (the office is open from ten to eleven AM and then one PM to three PM every day, is two hours from my house, and thus requires me to take a whole day off work to go in for paperwork (needed to exit and then reenter the country on my current visa)), and i have meetings and dinners every night all the way up until friday. plus the dinner on friday night is pretty life-crushingly huge. so there's no FEASIBLE way i could be in louisville on new year's eve.

this really sucks because more than anything else i was looking forward to seeing my friend doug jones in indiana and maybe FFDogging with him again.

new years eve you get me on xbox live (or skype) and then use the proper configuration of cables and adapters to plug me into a guitar amp with the gain / treble / middle jacked all the way up and i'll scream beligerently while i FFDog Xenogears all by myself in my house (on new year's day afternoon). you guys film some footage of the guitar amp. seriously.

i promise that next time i'm in indiana (thinking of going when the weather is nice, to execute these ten vacation days -- apparently they're good until the end of the "the year" with regard to when i started working here. so i still have a good half a year to use them.

thinking of heading out there when the weather is nice. when do you people have spring break?

i have an actual drummer now, by the way. he's a friend of kappuru's, actually! he's pretty great!! and he's not going to run away! and my old bassist is back from a year of studying in america, and playing lead guitar!

we have a sound!! mostly like the sound of chaos in a toilet stall on a space station and electronic waterfalls and heavy rain whispering shocking secrets between eaves and the doors of a freight train

as for myself, i can play (limited) jazz now!!

i think it was a pretty good year :-(

speaking of shoes, I will have on my black and pink Chuck Taylors (or as a random person once called them "chocolate and woman"), which may be as easy a way to recognize me as any. The duct tape on my backpack may help though.

The depot is around east 18th and Chester. It's a pretty decent sized free standing building, surprisingly clean for a greyhound station. It has an arcade inside, but the best thing they eve had there was a silent scope machine, long since gone I believe.

I don't know what I'm wearing (I'm indecisisve like that), but I'll probably be getting a haircut before going down there. I don't know what that'll be either.
