What? When did people suddenly start disliking SMT: Strange Journey? And do we have some people here who hate Etrian Odyssey's dungeons?!

secondpillow, plenty of people didn't mind looking at static monster pictures in the 8-bit and 16-bit Final Fantasy games. You may even be one of them. Some other RPGs probably also had them.
I didn't find the environments in Etrian Odyssey to be lifeless, despite not being animated. They had a lot of charm. _________________ Get Xenoblade Chronicles!

I liked Dragon Quest IV's translation with all those accents. :( It makes the dialogue more interesting and is a neat way to differentiate countries that usually speaking different languages. _________________ Get Xenoblade Chronicles!

This talk about classes and their abilities makes me want to play Final Fantasy V again. _________________ Get Xenoblade Chronicles!

I'm playing this game too. So far I've made it to the castle town (Stornwood?) and recruited a priest in the inn to assist me. But when I encountered the Wight Knight today, he kicked my ass. Do I really need to make a full team?
Also, how far should I play before joining an ad-hoc session? Me and a bunch of friends will be playing together. _________________ Get Xenoblade Chronicles!
