I just saw The Fall, which I somehow hadn't even heard of until a week or so ago. I was very impressed with it. It reminded me of The Fountain*, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, and The Princess Bride. (And maybe Pan's Labyrinth, too, a little.)
* I get the impression that most around here who talk about movies don't like The Fountain, but it's one of my favorites in spite of its pretending to be more profound than it actually is. |
