The main characters look like what every Sega arcade game character circa 1995 was trying to look like. _________________

Oh god dammit why must you hide such nougaty goodness inside a cover-based shooter of all things?
Well okay for the potentially massive international sales I guess.
I'm hoping it turns out we actually control that baby in a rhythm-based flight sim or something. |

The twenty-foot body-splash on the roof of a car with bonus infighting scenario appeals to me greatly. Pregnant robots however, is just bendy enough to work, because who else would?

lol at the neogaf thread for this, japan is no longer allowed to make cheesy bullshit action games because they are stepping on epics toes apparently.
The one thing I'm worried about is that this is a "collaboration" with an unnamed western developer. _________________

It's probably no use hoping they somehow blackmailed Epic into it huh?
Someone list some genre-competent western developers with enough freedom to work with Sega on ridiculous shootman games because my froth is drying up into a caked-on white crust here. |

You only need one - Bizarre Creations of The Club/PGR fame.
EDIT: To be more precise, Activision is looking to sell after Blur and the James Bond game, and Sega has a thing for UK-based studios. It would also explain why the developer can't be named yet. |
If that is the case than this game is going to rule as hard as anything has ever ruled. _________________ Go to this website, you (person who is loved) |

In a decade we will look nostalgically upon the era of the Japanese doing a terrible approximation of Western action movies with this LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL stuff as they will have become more adept and the people who grew up playing these games will be making action movies.
I am looking forward to watching these stupid cutscenes! |

The optimistic part of me says the humans were total shitheads on purpose. Actually, playing as them and hating yourself because of how big of shitheads you all are might even be better than playing as the robots. _________________ Let's Play, starring me. |

guys, I might be wrong, but I'm betting the house on this being deliberate satire and those three "heroes" actually being idiot sociopaths
(oh hi cuba)
the trailer doesn't even fucking show gameplay
jesus

I like the way that big robot can just fire nonchalantly without resorting to typical big robot powerup charges.

I'm surprised that so many of you are against this.
I'm worried about how the gameplay is gonna turn out like the rest of you, but this is EXACTLY the kind of plot I want in my Japanese action games.
It looks a bit bland until the reveal--but man, WHAT A REVEAL! Half-robot/Half-human society hovering above the dilapidated remains of Shibuya? "Let the good times roll," in-fucking-deed. |

IN THE FUTURE, THERE WILL BE ROBOTS.
GTA Vice City was right, after all, huh …
still, if they can do anything with this, why not even trying to have some hopes. _________________
