| I was gonna pass on Ocarina. But the MQ sounds good. Do you have to clear regularmode first? 'Cause that doesn't sound worth it. |
Nope! MQ is available right from start on the menu of the disc alongside vanilla OoT. _________________

| Ah, that's on gamecube. On the 3DS, you totally have to clear the regular game first, and it is way unfortunate. |
Laaaame
I was reading the Game Informer coverage of Skyward Sword and it was really making me want to play the N64 Zelda games since I never played very far into either of them. So I might do that at some point though I'll probably use a faq while I'm doing it. _________________

Ocarina of Time really doesn't require a FAQ. |
How about Majora's Mask? I have very little patience for some reason when it comes to Zelda these days. However, a couple years ago I tried playing Adventure of Link for real and got pretty far on my own before getting stuck and needing to look up the next step.
But the 3D games... I don't know. After finishing Wind Waker and Twilight Princess I think I was just done with Zelda for a while. I might be ready to get back into it since I never finished OoT or MM but I'm still kind of ambivalent about them. _________________

Today I went out and bought a black 3ds xl and A Link between Worlds. So far both are proving to be everything I was hoping they would be. The device is slick and has huge screens and lots of neat little features I'll probably never really use.
The game is wonderful too. I'm glad they stuck most of the items in the stores at the beginning and just let you have at it. Frees the design away from the lock-and-key based drudgery and instead places it on the exploration and puzzling where it should be. I sincerely hope this game is a sign of Nintendo finding their way again with the franchise and not just letting the oppurtunity to go further in this direction vanish. Next game I get will be Mario 3D Land.
I like the ar games but it's kind of finicky with needing to be positioned just right. Also I have about 80$ worth of nes and og gameboy games on my eshop wish list lol. _________________

I never played Four Swords but I'm getting in on it since it's free. How does the multiplayer work? Do I have to be physically next to other players? _________________
