This is kind of stupidly incredible, though I wouldn't mind seeing it without ugly filters...

Yeah, I downloaded it yesterday. I'll have to figure how to install it, though, since I've never done that. |
I haven't tried it myself, but know that, apart from the instructions they have on the blog (about where to find the Minecraft world folder, and the right texture pack) you'll need MCPatcher HD fix to change your texture resolution.
Anyone tried any other interesting Minecraft maps? |

sweet idea |
I don't understand. Why would someone pay $30 for something they could make a better version of themselves? |

As much as it hurts me to admit it they were probably wasted Picross/puzzle games. |

Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru, or For the Frog the Bell Tolls has you take on the role of the impetuous but good-natured Prince of Sable. As the Prince, you must save Princess Tiramisu and the desert and frog themed land of Mille-Feuille from the evil Lord Delarin…and do before your rival, the valiant Prince Richard, beats you to it.
Gameplay is a mix of platforming action and simple RPG elements. The engine for this game went on to be used for Link’s Awakening, and many plot elements were borrowed for later Zelda games. |
Pretty excited that this translation is done. |

I remember no one liking that game. I'm going of alcohol effected memory here, but I think of the Double Dragon games as being tight and precise, and the Battletoads games at being sort of floppy and slippery. Not that they don't take precision to get through; more the way the sprites feel. I remember the team up game feeling more like that. Doesn't seem like a sensible amalgamation.
I remember you having only positive things to say about Double Dragon III AG, has something changed, or am I remembering oddly? You or Isfet should start a Double Dragon thread. |

Nope! I don't think much of Astro Boy. Advance Guardian Heroes is a mile in front of those two.

| Also Dragon Quest X is coming in 2012 on Wii (in Japan at least)... AND an enhanced version releasing on Wii U with better graphics. And it's an online game (maybe with a monthly fee) that can apparently be fully enjoyed single player. And Yosuke Saito, the producer of Nier, is the producer - this is BY FAR the most positive piece of news in my mind. |
What is a producer in this context? Mobygames has Ryutaro Ichimura listed as the producer on Dragon Quest IX. |
