i really don't know what the fuck i'm supposed to do with this wordpress thing. it's driving me fucking nuts. it's like the templates are built for retards -- retards who believe that anything less than rounded edges and gradients all over the place is "unsophisticated". i want a sidebar into which i can actually type text. i want to be able to make posts and have them not ever -- EVER -- be listed on the front page as "Posted in Uncategorized". i don't want the sidebar to say "Categories: Uncategorized" -- that looks fucking disgusting. that looks like cockroaches swarming on a loaf of bread, to me. i want NO CATEGORIES AT ALL.

i want the rounded edges gone and i want the backgrounds all the same solid color. for god's fucking sake i want the text OUT of the header image because it looks horrific. what kind of fucking insult is this, anyway, that it says "Just another WordPress weblog" at the top of my fucking page? that's fucking cruel. some people install this shit with grand ideas in mind, only to open up their front page right away and see that they're being called "Just another WordPress weblog".

"Just another". what the shit. do they really have to word it that way? that's fucking snippy as hell. It's like they're saying, yeah, we made this system and it's pretty good though if you had anything worthwhile to say, you'd probably have made your own input system, jackass! your website isn't a website -- it's JUST ANOTHER WORDPRESS WEBLOG.

if wordpress were being nice to me, i wouldn't mind keeping the "proudly powered by WordPress" at the bottom of the page. however, just because of their little snippy jab in the default header, i went through the half hour of trouble necessary to clip that off the bottom of my page. if i'm going to use wordpress, i'm going to make damn sure it looks like i'm not using wordpress.

for god's sake i just wanted to get my header live before lunch. i guess not!

vision, james said you could help me. i told him to tell you to gmail chat with me and you never did. please help this is fucking terrible over here.

or, someone else help. for the love of god.

as for why i can't do this myself -- i have this long-standing personal tendency to take a look at something, and then completely give up on it if i don't understand it perfectly at first glance. so yeah.
