...on the way to the Casual Dining restaurant.

I took one of the guys from work (great kid, 24, fetal alcohol syndrome, sucks at Guitar Hero 2) out for dinner today. His roommate had gone home for the night, so that just left him. Anyways, we're enjoying the food, when suddenly I hear the theme to Zanarkand playing on the restaurant's grand piano. I look over and see this kid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fths_Qq2_MM

His name is Matt, and he's there every Monday playing music for the nice people. I asked him if he could play FF7's overworld theme, and sure enough he did. He'll upload it soon. I told him I could play Ken's theme from SF2, but it wasn't really the right place for it.

Yeah I always did like the intro to FFX. It's a courageously low-key way to open such a big-budget title. Most memorable music in the game too.

haha, this reminds me of when i used to play a 'greatest hits' collection of songs from FF7 for the fans of that game in high school.

oh god, dude, one time a guy started crying while i was playing and he had to go to the bathroom.

i'm no fucking virtuoso, either, i think i just went a little too far with the song that plays in the skeleton placey part. hang on, i need to find the name of this song so someone might know what i'm talking about.
