I'll be honest, Tim -- and this says nothing about the girl, 'cause I don't know her -- when I first saw that avatar I thought it was kind of a joke, maybe something you'd pulled from some cosplay photos or ... you know, along those lines. LOL japan type stuff. Some of us (most, I guess) just don't take too well to sparkly fairy girls who carry around unicorn plushies and wink obnoxiously? I mean, as a matter of aesthetics, and not necessarily as a judgement call on a person's character.
That new one is a lot nicer, in my opinion, and makes her seem a lot more approachable. The winking thing, though, man. I begin to wonder if there's some truth to Joe's theory that a hungry bird stole her eye. She looks really cute, anyway.

Okay, she was DJing, hence the outfit and the MLP, and the wink is just something she does in photos when she's working. There are plenty of photos of her where she's not winking

You can stop trolling now, the topic was "Whose Avatar do you Hate/Love?", and obviously it's about appearances.
I didn't like it because the combination of a Japanese girl's face with purple fake hair looks horrible on it.
