What sort of stuff are you guys looking for? Beating sense into scientologists is a perennial favourite. If you're going to raid the Eaton Centre and/or the massive music stores just outside it, I highly recommend eating at Salad King. Don't let the wussy name fool you... It's not vegetarian and they serve pretty good, cheap, spicy thai food. There's an arcade nearby too if that's your thing.
Where are you guys coming from? |

We're driving from St. Louis, up through Indianapolis though Michigan.
Yeah, any suggestions are good, because we were basically planning on hitting up the CN tower and a bar or two.
We're staying about a mile away from the CN tower, but I couldn't tell you in which direction... _________________

Well, everything in this city because 10 times better once you're drunk. We have a lot of museums, which aren't very interesting (for example, the Bata Shoe Museum). Keep in mind that in Canada, at our LCBOs we don't charge any taxes, but everything is just a bit more expensive.
If some taxi driver is going to any bars in the Church and Wellesley area, you might be going to a gay bar. A lot of universities are in the center of Toronto, conviently located around Yonge St., College, and University Ave., There is a lot of bars, no matter where you go, but make sure to end up in a good bar district.
If you happen to head out too west, you'll end up in Etobicoke, where I live. It's not really a fun place to be...

About the CN tower:
They'll charge you to go up, and give you the option to pay more to go "all the way". The price/height difference totally makes it a scam and the standard observation deck will almost certainly satisfy you.

I lost my voice :(
I vote this become the new SB Toronto thread, as I am too lazy to look for the old one(on the second page). I mean, this thread has the Spirit of St. Louis now. _________________ --

| Oh, Toronto has some of the best food ever. I had the most satisfying meal I've had in months at a place called Utopia on College tonight. Fucking fab. I felt like I was eating souvlaki made by JESUS. That and the West Indian food. In conclusion, eat a lot of food, drink a lot of beer (at Sweaty Betty's or the Comunist Daughter) and then fuckin' dance or drink more beer. That's the proper way to enjoy Toronto. |

This place is fuckin' expensive. You guys get taxed out the ass :/
Our hotel is on Carlton, which is across Yonge St. from College, so all these places are totally accessible. Some of the people with us are at a bar right now... The rest of us, however, can't afford to go to a bar every night.
Also, the highway from Windsor was the most boring thing I have experienced in my life. The customs agent was mean, too :/
However, there are some badass fucking awesome buildings down here. Yonge street is totally sweet. We have a part of town like that in STL, but it's like, all of two blocks. The underground mall this is pretty cool as well.
