I had only played this on genesis until now. I found it too hard for me back then, and I still do.
13.000
47.500 on my best run.
The difference between the isometric view and the normal movement confused me, I couldn't keep myself from expecting the ship to move diagonaly. Setting the pad and playing with an analogue helped a lot in my last run.

XEXEX: 71.300 died in the first boss.
There's nothing I can point out as wrong, but it feels quite bland. And a bit visually confusing
