I am! Going the Mage/Assassin route. Cleared out a mineshaft full of bandits, wandered into Riverwood. I gotta admit, the critical hit with the dagger is pretty sweet.

The Dark Brotherhood quest is cumbersome and way over the top. It's somewhat exciting, at least regarding the actual assassinations, but it misrepresents the lore and concept of the Brotherhood so much that it actually becomes part of the guild's narrative. There's a lot to like in some ways, I know there are several different outcomes to the scenario as a whole, but it just felt dangerously close to the Brotherhood of Steel rewrite in Fallout 3.

I mean, they avoided that for the most part, especially if you see the quest through, but damn for a while I was getting pretty mad. The actual members of the Brotherhood are stupefyingly annoying as well, like the cast of Kathryn Bigalow's Near Dark, but set to full god damn retard.

Still, I'm enjoying the hell out of this game for what it is. The Lighthouse was quite a nice place to explore, and had some pretty horrifying journals to go through.
