Meanwhile, there's a small bank next to a liquor store you can hold up in the desert. The bank's lobby is right there, but the door won't open. Why can't I be a stupid lone stickup man in this bank prior to any Big Group Heists update, Rockstar?

Got a chance to play online this morning, had some real "emergent gameplay" fun with this helicopter I managed to grab. In between robbing liquor stores all over the state (easiest getaway ever) I found myself serving as emergency Evac to a few dudes caught in their own 5-0 shootout. Find open ground, let them hop in, take off like a rocket; police didn't even notice me until I became an official accomplice. This one guy somehow got the entire precinct after him just for trying to break into Michael's house, so I landed in the driveway then flew him to safety. Turns out one of the hospitals has a couple of MedFlight birds on its roof so he parachuted off and took one for himself.

After that was over I got into some races with a random group, good times.

Yeah, I was really hoping for a place that gave the vibe of a four dollar room. a dollar for each wall! you know? I didnt know it cost you money every time you died in those. I think that's pretty weak. honestly, i'd rather it if the game was more about upward mobility than getting slammed by in-game fees for every step you take.

Next time we're both on we should tackle a bunch of story missions. I havent been making nearly any cash and now I understand why. Although, when I tried to play this morning I couldnt get on? So that's an annoyance.

I wasn't satisfied with the endings of GTA V, so I made my own:

As Trevor, I called Michael up and asked him out on a friend date. We went to see his movie, got some drinks, and then I rounded off the evening by taking him to the police station.

That's when I started throwing bombs.

"This is how it was supposed to be, Mikey! You and me, going out together in a hail of bullets against the cops! Nine years in the making, brother! I'm just making it right!"

I'm going to need some WARFIGHTERS for an OP. I got a mission where we have to go to a mansion and assassinate a guy. I think he's out on his balcony in the backyard but we can't snipe him from a distance cause we have to snap a photo of his body after the deed. His house is surrounded by walls too high to climb, and the inside is filled with super soldier body guards and the minute the gunplay starts the police are all over the place. Parachuting in seems like a one way trip I think we need a helicopter pilot, but I went to every airfield and helipad and couldn't find any aircraft in-mission. Not sure if there's anyway to bring any in with you. Tried going in the front door and died almost instantly but I only had one other person.

Also, I think Online deleted my fucking dude again. What the hell. What the ever fucking hell.

Edit: O.K., I think (think!) this is a server issue and it just isnt connecting. Because if my character is gone then that would make it the THIRD time this has happened.

Yesterday I logged on and my character was gone and my brother had said when he tried to log on it said there was a "cloud server" deal problem, so I left it alone and came back later and my guy was there. Some people weren't so lucky though apparently, but that might be because they keep making new characters when the old one doesn't show up.

For some reason when I make a crew only game crew members still need an invite, some people who are in the crew show up under the members list when inviting people on jobs and some don't and when I first started playing it didn't even show the crew tag on my name until I rechecked the box under crews in the online settings even though it was already checked, and when I set my vehicle to crew only use they can't get in it. For safety reasons I should probably hold off on installing that ignition bomb.

87% in singleplayer and I think rank 11 in online. Online is still kind of weird at the moment so I don't play it as much but it mostly works for me when I do, aside from occasional visual glitchiness. Have had some good times so far and I imagine they'll just keep getting better and they fix the online component and start rolling out more content for it.

I finally saw the weird Italian art house movie and I think it's probably the best of the three movies I've seen at the cinemas. Meltdown is probably the worst but the joke is that it's supposed to have shitty dialogue and action sequences that make no sense but it doesn't really work because while the joke may be funny or entertaining the actual movie just isn't. The Loneliest Robot in Great Britain is leagues better in that the basic story makes sense and the joke is funny to boot. Capolavoro, however, is in a class all its own in that it's "well made", the joke works and it's hella entertaining to sit through.

I also just finished the Epsilon mission. At the end I chose to restart after completing it and go for the gold because it didn't occur to me to just kill everyone and take the money lol. I did this one in the post-game after Michael is living the dream of being a Vinewood Movie Producer because it seemed appropriate.

I am continually blown away by the views of Los Santos at night from the air. Just seeing all the lights and all the traffic moving along the roadways is great. Earlier today I was playing as Franklin looking for some letter pages in a helicopter and flying low over the south side of the city by the water with lots of fog rolling in engulfing all the buildings. It was like that moment when I first played Silent Hill 2 way back when. This ain't just a wall of fog covering up shitty draw distances, this was real 3D fog!

I think I've spent about 90+ hours on this game so far and I still haven't explored the sea beds and ocean floors that much. I've spent enough time underwater to notice the same visual range as above water in that closer to the shore the water is all dark and murky but the further out you get the clearer it is and the deeper you go the darker it gets. Also you can't get very far without finding something neat down there, whether it's an explorable ship wreck, beautiful foliage and vegetation or just some weapons and ammo. Lots of stuff down there.

I've made it to level 50 and have a million dollars. So far people have mostly left me alone in free roam and those that haven't have regretted it. By now most of the time I can draw and shoot down anyone as they are shooting at me without getting killed, I don't know if it's my level or that I maxed out my strength stat that's helped the most with that. I repelled an ambush by three 11 year olds who kept calling me a bitch for responding to their aggression. Parents shouldn't let their 11 year olds have headsets. There was one guy with the word killer in his name going around murdering people randomly who I started repeatedly killing until he sent a text message telling me to stop because I was draining his money and ammo. Then I kept killing him and tried to set his body on fire with the gas can but he respawned too quickly. I think most people are eventually going to learn it's just a waste of resources to murder people in free roam but if they don't I'm offering classes open day and night to all ages.
