Also I'm finally allowed to say now that this was developed at my company, and it's been pretty sweet sitting 10 feet away from Jordan Mechner for the past year. I wasn't on the dev team for it, however, so I haven't had any input on it or direct experience with it other than a 15 minute playtest a few months ago. So, I'm looking forward to playing it on my boxor of roxorz tonight! _________________

I'd have had Demon's Souls on the PS3 list, and Reach on the 360 list. hadn't heard of Hawkins -- doesn't look like it offers anything that Spelunky and/or La-Mulana don't -- and I have Pac-Man on Android (which is a bit of a technicality). Likewise, don't really care about Wipeout because F-Zero GX. I'm with you on Noby Noby and Afterburner Climax, though. Add Fight Night (Round X) to both, count all of the Jenova Chen games as one in the PS3 column (because they were released on one disc and even though I don't normally subscribe to that thinking it works for the purposes of this discussion), and you're at 5-3. Depending on personal preference, maybe replace Noby Noby with Uncharted 2 and/or Fight Night with Vanquish.

Um, maybe if you don't play shmups.
but even then:
Halo 3, ODST, Reach, and apparently 4.
The Forzas (not sure about Horizon, but 3 and 4 were solid)
EDF2017
Bullet Witch (from what i hear)
Dead Rising (1, not that 2 bullshit)
Probably one of the Gears of War (1, if you were around for the heyday)
Nuts and Bolts, probably.
I can probably come up with more, but yeah. Not to say the PS3 doesn't have its share of good exclusives, but I think you are underestimating the 360 by a good amount (like i said, if you add in shmups, it gets even more).

on an unrelated note, it is a major bummer that the DMC HD collection apparently doesn't support custom soundtracks. I tried playing the damn game on the PS2 years ago but couldn't stand the music; I then spent hours cutting up ogg vorbis tracks on the PC version but couldn't stand missing half the lighting effects, and now I thought I might finally get an acceptable release, but no.
cough cough, totally does on 360, since everything on 360 has to. it's not the perfect custom soundtracks of the original xbox, but yeah.
Like I said, when it comes down to it, both systems do their fair share of fuckover-y, but that is just the status quo in consoles now. I can't say i genuinely completely prefer one over the other, but man, if we coudl smash tehm together, that would be nice.

Oh did they actually get around to proting it to PC? I didn't remember that. No reason they shouldn't have, as I recall most of the assets for it were just in the UE3 devkit. Still the online community (at SB) that happened when it came out was such an integral part of that game that i wouldn't play it without it.
part of me gets the sense that after the FFXII meltdown he's gotten himself a spiritual guru who won't let him work more than two months out of the year, and part of me hopes that the dude has just that much cache in the japanese industry that he can pick employers at will.
in any case, my slightly-used $110 3DS just arrived today, so here's hoping this comes out before I finish 3D Land. I, uh, only got it for these two games.
well, yeah, hur hur, but I don't think the court is considering the aesthetic merits of Too Human, and I don't think silicon knights is big on thinking that their own games are terrible. you might as well let little jimmy punch some dudes as wolverine for a while, I don't think it'll kill the artist formerly known as cliffy b
It would probably last longer if it did. Let's hope the battery is located in a way that allows for giant aftermarket replacements (I've got a 3600mAH unit and hunchback cover that makes my Xperia Play thicker than an OG DS, feels good man)
Interestingly, french developers Golgoth are also releasing the 2D HD Game Maker Golgoth Development Kit used to make Magical Drop V. _________________

You do know you don't play as any of the recognizable X-Men in Destiny
congrats on making little Jimmy cry _________________
