Incidentally, the special effects showcased in this scene are probably the most (only?) interesting thing about Bioshlock Infinite. |
Can you expand upon that? Which effects in particular & why are they interesting? |

| Sorry, I haven't watched videos or payed much attention to this, it sounds like maybe the street kind of ends half way down because the area beyond isn't spacially contiguous with it... if so that is sort of interesting, i've wished many times for more unreality in 3D games. |

| Just a reminder that Mewtwo is now being distributed via Nintendo WFC for a limited time in North American and PAL territories. You can collect a Wonder Card by selecting MYSTERY GIFT at the title screen. |

| that advertising image for Girl Fight strongly evokes Rumble Roses ... i suppose it's too much to hope for a spiritual sequel though, even if fighting in virtual reality sounds like a good start. |

Thanks for reminding me to spend my gift cards. The only thing is, what to get? I haven't bought anything from GAME for years because they are always more expensive .. |

Thanks for this link, byuu has also written an article providing an overview of this effort. Looking at that thread made me want to learn everything about a particular computer, but going on my previous experience, the feeling will pass. The idea that GBA and DS games could be lost is pretty surprising - between emulation and piracy, I'd assumed any game released in the last 15 years would be preserved forever. |

| I didn't think that Quantic Dream demo was as bad/good as everyone else seems to, but I am kind of curious about their model - why are they making a demo like this? I assume they are attempting to repeat what they did with The Casting demo, but what did that achieve for them? Publicity and Funding? How much effort in terms of time & money is on display in the latest piece? How much of The Casting was re-used in Heavy Rain? |

i assume it's to show off the new tech at gdc, to show how far their motion capture has come, both for the point of whatever presentation they were doing plus i believe they also rent out their motion capture services to other companies |
Ah, I hadn't realised it was shown at GDC, not that their services were for hire. The performance capture looked pretty good, perhaps someone who wants to make more freeform games will get a hold of it. Or perhaps there will be a game that captures the player's performances ... it'd be kind of cool to see that one day as an aid for (paper) RPGs. |

Blaze also seem to be releasing a £100 handheld console called GameGadget at the end of the month.
It .. I mean .. more insanity from Blaze? It seems like you can buy devices with similar specification for close to half the price from dealxtreme. |

Not sure if this has been mentioned, or where the rest of the world is on this, but the UNIQLO produced Metal Gear Solid T-shirts are available in the UK tomorrow.

the picture on that andriasang report is pretty creepy. look at the way the bracelet (or watch?) on his arm is exposed. now look back to his head.
I can't find a report about the deficit on any web site which isn't about computer games. I'm not sure what a deficit of that size even means. Is it bad or just normal business (which makes no sense to me at all)? |

Parts of Underworld are good too, although other parts are kind of awful.
I still haven't managed to get back to Legend (Lara's like a spy!) due to the body count. I've just remembered a part which should be represented in a Galaxy Oddity thread tho' .. could that be some kind of selectbutton metric?? |
