i'm only level 10 :(

i've done a cursory search on the internet, but, eh, are weapons just used as stat modifiers? i'm okay with just using spiders/toads, but something bothers me about not using a WEAPON.

the last diablo i played was D1.

also, does co-op increase/change EXP per enemy or make anything more difficult?
