I admit growing up, Pokemon was never my thing.

A finer appreciation for hardcore titles like Monster Rancher and Digimon were my true calling. Pokemon is for half-blind little girls and retarded infants, Digimon was for guys who knew how to handle real wet and roar pocket beasts. Augumon could rape 8 Pikachu's for breakfast and have enough left over to rip Charmanders head off and shit Pikachu's down his neck.

So I must admit it when I was at the mall earlier today, cruising for that Justin Lin jersey everyone is selling there moms to get, there was an intriguing conversation, being executed at the food court. I heard a woman, I think her name was Joan or Jones, say that all the kids at her son's school love the new Pokemon DS game, even though it's not out yet. I suddenly felt so out of touch. Another lady, milking her baby (and I ALMOST saw SOME) named was Burt, said Digimon is dead, and not even the squirrels in backyard will take away the plastic remains she discarded in her backyard.

I'm gonna go pre-order 4 copies of each Pokemon Color and give my manhood back to the children. And that's how you Foster the People.
