virtua fighter is the smartest fighting game

and it's only 15 dollars



a stick isn't necessary the game only has 3 buttons

(and combinations of those 3 like P+K+G which might? be hard to do on a pad)

a lot of move inputs are harder to do without a joystick, since they're based on quick "wiggling" motions. it's not like capcom games where most special moves can be done by rolling the thumb across a control pad.

$15 for the game. All costume items are release day DLC due to size limitations.

The catch is that if you want all the customization items -- and to see others' -- you need to pay $30 for the two item packs, for a total cost of $45. Yeah, it sucks. But the base game's $15 and awesome.

I played El Blaze in VF5, and Sarah (poorly) in Evo. Looking forward to learning Jean in FS, and hopefully I'll get around to dabbling a little with more characters as well. I never really touched anyone but my main character in the previous games.
