On Friday night, I brought a copy of Tank! Tank! Tank! into Gamestop, put it on the counter, and announced that I had finished it and wanted to trade it in for something else. The look on the clerk's face was pretty good.
(I was also pretty drunk)

This game is absolutely awesome in the arcades and you should try it if you ever have the chance. |
We had one set up at E3!
Anyway: I really wish Nintendo would get some decent games out there for this thing that aren't a) Remakes or Ports, b) Platinum games (Platinum is not anywhere near as good as people really desperately want to think they are -- they are quite hit or miss, actually!)
I'm sure Wind Waker HD is lovely but I'm not getting an entire system just for it when I've got the GC version sitting right here, New Super Mario Bros. games do absolutely nothing for me despite a lot of attempts to enjoy them. I've just become convinced they're hollow shells and nobody at Nintendo remembers what makes Mario good -- basically, Mario is the new Sonic. Then we've got a bunch of games that are perfectly OK on the system (Deus Ex, Mass Effect) that I've either had for years on PC already or will be available on PC.
I guess I'll get one once Nintendo has just given up on consoles and moved entirely to handheld and the system has been cracked wide open and is dirt cheap. I could use a new Emulation Box/Nintendo player eventually.
