| This leaked E3 PR support guide suggests that XBox One Microsoft Studio games will be sold at $60. There was a lot of speculation that the new licensing format would allow games to go for $30-$40 MRSP, but this doesn't seem the case - of course, it's still pastebin so caveat emptor. |
Superannuation posted it and it was re-tweeted by a lead designer from Twisted Pixel (A MS studio). It's mentioned it's been screwed with a couple of times by angry fanboys overnight though. But there were a few ones caught published on twitter that actually make a bit of sense.
- No advertisements on home screen and only relevant adverts like sales and specials on other screens
- Wired 360 peripherals and headsets may be supported. Which is good news for those with Fight Sticks and Wheels
- Gold is for every profile on the console
- No more Guest profiles, you can instantly set up a profile and have it work as gold and then your friend can retrieve it if they want it themselves.
- You can set up your party before people even get online and they will be sent an invite to join your party as soon as they log online
- Will support 3rd party universal remote controls
Though to be honest, $30-40 RRP on games would be a pretty big "Get fucked Sony" bomb that they would save up for Gamescom. But the fact they screwed up that sort of messaging (Especially on wired stuff because seriously, there are a lot of angry people with Fanatec wheels angry about Forza 5) is worrying that they don't have their shit straight.
This console generation is going to be the equivalent of those old Boxing matches that went on forever. I can feel it. _________________

I'm not sure if Volition has gone full borne crazy or the amount of fuck they give about what people think about them cannot be measured with modern measuring instruments.
Happy 4th of July, y'all. _________________

Surprised Dangan Ronpa is making it over, even as a Vita game. Last I heard, XSeed tried after it's JP release but the translation was a pain and apparently there was something in it that was on the ESRB's shitlist and would need changed up. I guess if they are remaking it, they can change the offending element.
Edit: After reading the LP's. They would have a big ESRB issue with certain events in the game. Very interested to see how NISA tackle that. _________________

Forza's already had that sort of thing since Forza 3. Install disc and an online install for more tracks and cars. It's not exactly surprising. But since the entire internet is looking for anything and everything to go nutso about the Xbone, then go nuts really. _________________
