I guess I'm the odd man out here; I'm 100% consoles. Always have been, always will be. PC gaming just doesn't have any of the developers/franchises/genres I enjoy. I'd sooner quit gaming than switch over to PC. |

JRPGs, yeah. Fighting games are still largely the domain of consoles as well, and DMC (but not DmC) type "extreme action" games too. I also enjoy rhythm games and 3D platformers, although both of those are pretty rare on consoles nowadays as well. |

Yeah, as far as developers go Atlus and Platinum are big factors in my continued console loyalty.

I thought we were discussing my tastes, not yours. :p
I don't really do emulation, anyhow. It doesn't feel as authentic to me as playing a legit copy of a game on my TV, and I like to support the developers whose games I enjoy besides.
I'd probably be better off using emulators as far as the JRPG scene right now goes, yeah, but fortunately I just picked up a 3DS earlier last month. Pokemon Black is currently scratching that itch quite well. |

Hey guys remember when we said we weren't going to go around calling things gross anymore because it's incredibly lazy and reductive?
Personally, I don't mind video games starring sexist assholes. The disgusting thing about the Yaiba trailer to me is that they didn't even put any effort into making its sexist asshole cool or funny. The writing in that trailer is awful. The dialogue comes across as being misogynistic just for the sake of being misogynistic. |
