This at least looks the better of the stuff he's been releasing the past few years! I will probably make a sincere effort to play this one. I was a little bummed it had nothing to do with killer7, but maybe its for the best.
Still, I wouldn't mind a Killer7: Kevin Smith Suede Side Story. _________________

Kazuma Kiryu (from Yakuza) will be a paid downloadable character in hot-shots golf.
He's semi-chibified and well
Is that face worth 500 to you?

In a bit of interesting graphics tech news on PS3: the E3 peek at Grant Turismo 6 mentioned it utilizes adaptive tessellation.
Tessellation is a big deal right now on PC and is only associated with DirectX 11. So that's cool, Sony must have a custom shader library for that. What adaptive tessellation means is smoother looking models (rounded contours that look round) at lower GPU memory cost (because they aren't pumping out a bunch of extra, traditional polygons to make the model smoother. and theoretically, seamless LOD transitions, as there is no longer a need for swapping in multiple models. The tessellation just dynamically gets less aggressive as your distance from it increases. |
That's pretty neat. I saw that in the trailer, but didn't really get what it meant. The explanation is appreciated! _________________

Man, I do not even want to get my hopes up, since it just has to be something botched after that …… real world™ "experiment" Assault Horizon. Still, Glatisant has fallen, Gracemeria has been taken back, Megalith is an amusement park, Yuktobania an ally and the Arkbird is sailin' across the skies ……
New Blood. New Battles. |
I have never felt so much swooning emotion for fictional countries.
Time to pop in AC4 & 5.
I have no lack of faith in Project ACES technical competency, rather I fear the men who hold the money.
I'll give Assault Horizon a shot someday though. I imagine it's pretty cheap now? _________________

Really glad to see that ZOE patch! Someone gave the game to me as a present a while ago (it was a really nice gesture), and my inner technical hipster made it really hard for me to be genuinely appreciate, arg. I threw it in a box, but I am glad I kept it now.

I've got froth
I know exactly what this game is going to be and i've got froth
i think it looks interesting. i like how you have a thief npc with you that you can direct to treasure, and that the two melee classes have strong attacks where they loose their weapon for a a while. i think there is a lot more to this game we haven't seen. _________________

I didn't realize this game was going to be F2P. And buy a Japanese company, which likely means they're not going to get it at all and make it a shitty grind fest. I'm not even sure how they're going to do this. _________________

People make comparisons to things because they need points of reference.
It's much easier to say to your bro that it's, "skyrim with guns" then put mental effort into a more accurate description. It also makes it easier to sell to people who can give you money to make your game. Elevator pitches don't even exist anymore. With today's attention-spans, you get three, maybe four words. _________________

I was interested in yaiba because inafune's company was involved with it, and i still might play it, but now that will be happening definitely in a closet where no one i know will ever see me. _________________
